If you’re reading this, it’s probably because you got steered here from a page that no longer exists. That’s because I’m hard at work reinventing myself, my pursuits, my life.
On October 17, 2017, my husband passed away. What followed were months that I only vaguely remember now, because everything was too shocking, too painful.
I emerged a new person after months of therapy and EMDR (a type of trauma desensitization suitable for anyone suffering PTSD — if you think it might be right for you, ask your therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, or feel free to contact me with questions about my own experiences with it). There was no way not to. When someone important to you dies, you have no choice but to reinvent yourself, because that old life, and those old dreams, are gone forever.
What does that mean for you, dear reader?
Unfortunately, any sequels to The Last of the Ageless are on the faaaar back burner for now. My old Patreon, the Ardent Alliance, is abandoned. My newsletter, the Vanguard, is also abandoned. Maybe someday I’ll resurrect them, but not for the foreseeable future.
I’m going down a different path now.
There’s a possibility I may convert TraciLoudin.com to my home for freelance editing. There’s also a good chance I won’t.
Fear not! I do have big plans, but most of them will go on behind the scenes. Fare thee well, friends. May our paths cross sometime in the not-too-distant future.
